The Gainsborough Model Railway will resume open days at Easter. It will be open on Easter Saturday 16th April and Easter Sunday 17th April from 1.30pm to 5.30pm, with last entry being one hour before closing time on each day.
Admission costs adults £4.00, senior citizens and children £3.00, Family (two adults and two children) £10.00.
It is a large 0 Gauge model railway based on the East Coast Main Line from London Kings Cross to Leeds Central in the days of steam, with such locos as Flying Scotsman and Mallard. It is run to a timetable with bells and signals just like the real railway and it fills the society’s club rooms in the Old Victorian School in Florence Terrace near the South end of Tesco car park.
