The Gainsborough Model Railway will next be open on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th April from 1.30pm to 5.30pm, with last admission at 4.30pm.
Admission costs adults £5.00, senior citizens and children £4.00, family (two adults and two children) £12.00.
It is a large 0-Gauge model railway based on the East Coast Main Line from London Kings Cross to Leeds Central in the days of steam, with such locos as Flying Scotsman and Mallard. It is run to a timetable with bells and signals just like the real railway and it fills the society’s club rooms in the Old Victorian School in Florence Terrace near the South end of Tesco car park.
