Gainsborough Churches Together celebrated Christian Aid Week recently.
350 people gathered on 12th May in Gainsborough Parish Church for this year’s Churches Together Service. Pete Moorey, Head of Community and Engagement for Christian Aid, travelled from his London Head Office to be the guest speaker at this historic event, with leaders from the local churches conducting the service and local children providing prayers and awareness of the work Christian Aid does around the world.
£667 was raised at the United Service.
