Gainsborough Choral Society (GCS), founded in 1860, is a leading choral society attracting members from Gainsborough and surrounding areas of Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire. Currently around 90 strong, the Society performs three concerts each year, normally with a full orchestra, and visiting soloists as appropriate.
Vacancies exist in all parts, and the Society would welcome new singers. No audition is required – you just need to be enthusiastic about singing!
For the upcoming season, concerts are scheduled for Saturdays 11th November, 9th December and 23rd March 2024. If you would like to join them, please see the contact information below. Their first rehearsal is on Thursday 7th September at 7.30pm in All Saints’ Church, DN21 2JR.
