Gainsborough Choral Society has now concluded its successful 22 / 23 season with the recent concert featuring the Gloria by Antonio Vivaldi and the Nelson Mass by Joseph Haydn. The Society had previously performed Fauré’s Requiem and the Sunrise Mass by Ola Gjeilo, in addition to staging the popular Carols for All in December, the latter with the participation of pupils from Queen Elizabeth’s High School.
The Society takes a break during the summer but will be restarting in September, with the first rehearsal on Thursday 7th September at 7.30pm. All rehearsals and concerts take place in All Saints’ Church, Church Street, Gainsborough DN21 2JR.
