Fundraising with St Barnabas Hospice

by | 5 February 2020 | Community Event, Gainsborough, Local Charity

January was the start of a new year and a new decade. Did we manage to keep the new year’s resolutions we made?
A date for the diary is St Barnabas Hospice’s Bring a Gift Coffee Morning which is being held on Thursday 6th February from 10.00am to 12.00pm at their Gainsborough Hospice, Front Street, Morton. Please take along unwanted gifts and enjoy cake and refreshments whilst raising funds for St Barnabas Hospice. The organisers would really love to see you.

Gin and Jammies: Fundraising just got Gin’teresting!
Put on your jammies and enjoy a gin with friends for St Barnabas Hospice! A fundraising pack has launched to inspire a new generation of St Barnabas Hospice supporters. Fundraising doesn’t have to be hard work. It doesn’t have to include fitness training or finding sponsorship. It can be as simple as having a great time with your friends and donating the price of a few cocktails to a great cause.
St Barnabas Hospice helps 10,500 people each year in Lincolnshire with free hospice care. To continue to be able to offer this service to your family, friends and colleagues, they need to fundraise a colossal £5.5 million every year. The charity know how popular gin is at the moment, so they have joined forces with Pin Gin, a Lincolnshire company to create an ‘at home’ party guide, and their very own Gin: Est. 1982 Bramble. Although you don’t have to purchase Est. 1982 Bramble to have a party — be comforted to know that all profits from this specific gin will go directly to the hospice too! This gin is available only online on Pin Gin’s website.

Last year they cared for 1,822 patients over the winter (December, January and February). This is across their clinical services. They could not do this without the support of those in our communities. Their sincere and heartfelt thanks to you all.
