The Friends of Gainsborough Old Hall’s First Tuesday Talk this month is on Tuesday 2nd September at 7.30pm. Admission is £4.00, including light refreshments in Gainsborough House.
The scheduled talk by an artist has been cancelled due to the speaker’s health. However, Paul Howitt-Cowan will give a talk on The Huttons of Gate Burton, Knaith, and Spridlington. In June, Paul was invited to Gate Burton for a guided tour and was smitten by references to the Hutton family, hence the talk. Over the summer, Paul has assembled, with much assistance, a talk on this most distinguished family of local and national interest.
