Doncaster Movie Makers have had a successful start after Covid, with members participating in a five-minute film competition. The winner was a montage of beautiful skies and sunsets set to the music of Both Sides Now. Runner-up was Don Mcquade’s film about Dunsville Quarry Park.
The group also had a Holiday and Day Out competition, and Don was successful again with his aerial filming from a light aircraft flying around East and South Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire. The runner-up was a documentary about the infamous Caminito Del Rey walk in Andalusia.
On 22nd November, the team filmed the Gainsborough Morton 10K road race organised by Tape2Tape. A link for the film is on their website.
If you make films, why not contact the Movie Makers to see your films played to an audience on a large screen? They are a group of friendly amateur film makers and, even if you just like watching films, you will be welcome.
