Christmas Market and Presentation
St Paul’s Church, Morton will host its Christmas Market on Friday 5th December. The church will be beautifully decorated with wreaths and candles to welcome the festive season.
Doors open at 6.00pm for the Christmas Market, followed by a presentation at 7.00pm – an illustrated talk by Celia Lord titled ’Tis the Season to be Jolly, offering a light-hearted look at the history and traditions of Christmas.
Visitors are invited to take along their own Christmas wreaths to display in the church throughout the festive season. Seasonal refreshments will also be on sale.
Carols by Candlelight and Christmas Wreath Festival
Carols by Candlelight will take place on Thursday 11th December at 6.30pm. Everyone is welcome to enjoy an evening of traditional Christmas carols and readings of the Christmas story, told through seven lessons and carols. The church will be illuminated by candlelight, with the Christmas wreaths on display adding to the festive atmosphere.
Christingle Service
In support of The Children’s Society, the Christingle Service will take place on Christmas Eve, Wednesday 24th December at 5.00pm.
