There has been a drop in interest for tickets for the Charity Nights at The Blues Club, which could be down to the economic climate, or to the holiday season, or possibly to the type of acts being booked – or a combination of all three. Organisers would appreciate your feedback; they try to keep prices as low as possible, meaning some acts are out of reach – but it would be helpful to know what people would like to see and what they would be willing to pay.
The organising committee cannot continue to run these nights at a loss, and are desperate not to have to cancel another Charity Night. The help these events can give local people and charities is needed now more than ever; the ticket fee on the night pays the artist, while money from all other sales goes to charity. Please order your tickets as far in advance as possible so organisers can get in touch with the artist if there isn’t enough interest, and give them a small chance of finding another booking.
The Club has recently had a great night with A-Kay Barry White Tribute And Motown show, supported by Lyndsay Pepper plus disco.
On Saturday 1st October there is the return of Stolen Fridays, plus disco. Members and guests welcome; great value at only £5.00 per person.
This is followed by Kriz Garrick and Sharna on Saturday 22nd October – a three-hour show plus disco, tickets £6.00pp.
Please order your tickets through your normal channels or ring 07508 320243 or 07932 762159.
