Charity Nights at The Blues Club, Gainsborough

See The Ragdolls at The Blues Club Gainsborough on 14th August, as they’ll be performing for a charity night. A tribute to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, the act has a full backing band including a brass section and will be supported by the ever popular Johnny Mack plus Dave Brewer’s disco. Tickets cost £12.50 and are available to members and non-members.
This is a fundraising event to help local charities so, as usual, the organisers are hoping for donations for the raffle from their supporters – or maybe you have something they could auction off? They couldn’t do this without so much support from the local community so they thank you.
Their next charity night is on 4th September, when they have the UK’s number one tribute to the Kinks, The Kinx, performing hits such as All Day and All of the Night, Sunny Afternoon and Lola. They will be supported by one the leading sixties female tribute singers, Nancy Ann Lee, and Dave Brewer’s Disco. This is a night not to be missed and tickets cost only £10.00 each.
Then, on 16th October, back by popular demand, Amen Corner will perform, singing such hits as Half As Nice, Bend Me Shape Me, Hello Susie and many more. They will be supported by, new to the club, Jamie Dee plus disco and this is another great value night at only £12.50 each.
More great acts are booked for later in the year and next year, so look out for details. Tickets can be ordered from the Club on 01427 613688, Steve on 07759 945194, Baz on 07931 762159, John on 07508 320243 or Hank on 07931 714069.
Apologies from The Blues Club, but the memorial day they were due to have has been cancelled. However, they will hold it at a later date when they hope restrictions will have been eased further.
