Charity Nights at The Blues Club

For The Blues Club, the first two charity nights of the year were a great success – but they are still looking to improve slightly on numbers attending to cover costs.

On Saturday 1st April, Manchester Sixties girl group tribute act The Sabinelles perform, supported by Colin Powell and Ady’s disco. On the night there will, as always, be a raffle – for which donations are very welcome. The support and donations over the last two events have been amazing, especially considering the current economic climate.

On Saturday 6th May, a man who has performed at the White House and the Royal Albert Hall – and of course at The Blues Club last year – makes his long-awaited return: Mr Roy G Hemmings.

Then ex-Drifters frontman always provides an outstanding show, and he is ably supported by Emma Kelsey plus Ady’s Sound and Light Show. Four hours of top entertainment come at a ticket price of just £15.00.

The on 10th June Under The Covers make their first appearance at The Blues Club, supported by Hilton John and Ady’s disco. Tickets are just £5.00.

If you’ve not been to a Charity Night before, it’s well worth a visit – plus you know that you’re helping to support local charities. If interested, please book early both to avoid disappointment and to help the club secure their acts.
