Beckingham and District Gardeners’ Club is delighted to be resuming meetings on Monday 16th May at 7.30pm in the Recreation Room in Beckingham.

The last two years have been very difficult for everyone, but now we can start to get back to normal. Those lucky enough to have gardens have been able to continue gardening, in the fresh air, but still keep away from other people.

Gardening is so good for our mental health and wellbeing, so make 2022 a gardening year to remember!

The speaker for the Club’s first meeting back will be from Muddy Fork in Retford. Muddy Fork is a charity that helps people improve their wellbeing and mental health through volunteer conservation and wildlife gardening. They help people change their lives, step by step, doing useful work with supportive company, surrounded by nature, at the Muddy Fork garden.

If you are interested in gardening, the environment or related subjects why not go along to the next meeting? This is a small club and visitors will be made very welcome. As well as talks from interesting gardeners and naturalists, the Club organises trips to gardens and places of gardening interest during the summer months. In June they are organising a trip to the Harlow Carr Show.
