Following their summer break in July and August, Arts Society Gainsborough and District’s lectures will resume in September:
- Thursday 4th September – Pauline Chakmakjian presents ‘Japanese Cuisine’
- Thursday 2nd October – Jo Walton delivers ‘More Than Meets the Eye: Artists and Camouflage’
These take place at Trinity Arts Centre, Gainsborough DN21 2AL. There will also be a Special Interest Day on Thursday 23rd October at Sturton by Stow Village Hall. Jennifer Toynbee-Holmes will speak on ‘The Art of Dance’. Tickets cost £44.00, which includes a cooked lunch. Please contact the Chairman Leslie Whiting on 07871 459803 for further information.
To enquire about membership or to book a light lunch for the regular lectures (£10.00, served at 12.30pm), please call 07779 023122 by the preceding Monday. The Trinity Arts Centre bar is open for socialising before lectures.
