Gillian Poucher will be launching her second novel, ‘A Question of Loyalty’, at 11.00am on Saturday 17th September at Gainsborough United Reformed Church, Church Street, Gainsborough DN21 2JR.
The book signing will be accompanied by a question-and-answer session. Tea and coffee will be available. Gillian has been minister of Gainsborough United Reformed Church since 2006, and now ministers within the United Reformed Church North Lincolnshire Area.
‘A Question of Loyalty’ is set in Lincoln and is the sequel to ‘After the Funeral.’ It continues the story of Julia Butler, a professional counsellor trying to put her life back together after she offers her newly-discovered niece Grace and baby Emmeline a home. As Grace obsesses over her studies, Julia fears she may have inherited her late mother’s illness and may not be capable of caring for Emmeline.
Immersed in her domestic problems, Julia doesn’t realise that her brother is sinking into despair and that her partner has his own problems. Disturbed by a new counselling client as she struggles with the demands of those around her, Julia finds herself forming an unexpected friendship with a homeless man. Will Derek be able to help when the safety of Grace and Emmeline is threatened?
‘A Question of Loyalty’, published by Onwards and Upwards Publishers, will be available to buy at the event for £10.00 (cash only). It may be purchased online and through bookshops for £11.99 from 1st October. For further information, please visit www.gillianpoucherauthor.co.uk.
