The Kirton in Lindsey Entertainment Organisation (KLEO) is returning in the autumn with first of two shows supported by North Lincolnshire’s Rural Touring scheme LIVELINCS.
It is on Thursday 14th October at 7.30pm in the Town Hall, when the performers will be Hilary James and Simon Mayor.
This popular, world-class duo bring a unique combination of Simon Mayor’s humour and virtuosity and Hilary James’ honey dripping voice… not to mention her enormous mandobass!
But it’s probably the diversity of their repertoire that surprises people most: from folksongs to blues, Berlioz, classical mandolin show-stoppers, swing fiddle and some of their own notorious comic songs. This hugely entertaining evening is not to be missed. Serious stuff – but don’t take it too seriously! Find out more at www.mayorandjames.com.
The second show will be on Thursday 4th November, when the performers will be the Balbir Singh Dance Group. More details about this show in the October issue and see www.balbirsinghdance.co.uk.
Tickets prices are £8.00 full prices and £6.00 concessions and they are available from the Londis store in the Market Place or from Martin on 01652 648435 or email at m.hollingsworth205@btinternet.com.
