Rotherham’s biggest free cultural festival, the Rotherham Show, returns to the beautiful surroundings of Clifton Park on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th September, with one of its most vibrant programmes yet.
Brought to you by Rotherham Council and partners, this two-day event is a chance to celebrate everything that makes our borough special and the communities that make it thrive with an inspiring programme of entertainment, creativity and family fun.
Enjoy outdoor theatre, adventure play, live music, horticultural and heritage, sporting activities, circus magic, pop-up performances, spectacular displays, laugh-out-loud comedy and delicious food and drink – this year’s event celebrates everything that makes Rotherham unique.
For the 46th Rotherham Show, people are invited to choose their own adventure. Pick up an adventure map from the info point and choose music, sport, sensory, heritage or nature adventure taking you across the Park
The Green Field is all about celebrating horticulture, the environment and our local community, with a fun mix of circus acts, workshops, comedy, strong man competitions and dog shows to enjoy throughout the day.
Head over to the Blue Field for a vibrant mix of music, colour, food and sport. Get moving in the Moving Rotherham zone, don’t miss the stunning Luminarium experience and take a break at the main stage to enjoy live performances.
In 2025, Rotherham marked a milestone as the world’s first Children’s Capital of Culture. On the Yellow Field, Rotherham Council is proud to continue that legacy by offering creative opportunities for young people, alongside entertainment and hands on workshops for families to enjoy.
Alongside all of this you will also find food and drink outlets aplenty with offerings from around the world, and a covered seating area for those wishing to rest between exciting performances and activities.
Rotherham Show offers an extravaganza of entertainment for the whole family to enjoy, celebrating the uniqueness and spirit of the borough and giving people the chance to make memories together.
Free printed programmes will be available over the weekend, and you will also find wayfinding banners, including a map of the festival and timings, to help you find your away around.
There will be plenty of visitor parking available at Herringthorpe Playing Fields, which is only a short walk to and from Clifton Park. All day parking will be £3.00 per vehicle.
If you don’t drive, don’t worry as there are local bus routes stopping outside of the park or you can take the train which is a short walk from the town centre.
