The third Morton Feastival will take place on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th July, offering a free day out for families on the community field. The event will run from 2.00pm to 10.00pm, with activities and entertainment throughout the day and evening.

The event will feature a wide range of activities for both children and adults. These include three bouncy castles (so even adults can have a go), circus skills, a magician with balloon modelling, face painting, alpacas, archery, croquet and a variety of craft and community stalls. Performances from local groups, including dance and singing, will take place during the afternoon.

A broad selection of food and drink will be available, including award-winning Meatcastles burgers, fish and chips, snacks, ice cream, tea, coffee and homemade cakes from Morton Ladies, along with a licensed bar in the marquee.

Entertainment will continue into the evening, with live music from ‘Terra Firma’ starting at 7.00pm. Visitors are encouraged to bring chairs and enjoy the performance.

A raffle will also take place, with a top prize of £200 and additional prizes donated by local businesses and individuals. The top three prizes will be drawn at 9.00pm on Sunday.

The event is made possible through the support of local sponsors and the efforts of a dedicated team of volunteers.

On Sunday, St Paul’s Church will hold a community service at 4.00pm, followed by a free barbecue on the church field. All are welcome.
A leaflet with full details of the weekend’s events will be delivered to homes in Morton.
