Corringham Village Hall is delighted to announce that it has been awarded just under £18,000 from The National Lottery Community Fund to carry out essential fire safety upgrade works.

The funding will enable important improvements to the hall’s fire protection systems, helping to ensure the building remains safe, compliant and fit for purpose for the many local groups, organisations and residents who use the facility each week.

As a valued community hub, the Village Hall hosts a wide range of activities, including social events, fitness classes, meetings and private celebrations. The upgrades will help safeguard the future of the hall.

The management committee would like to thank The National Lottery Community Fund and National Lottery players for making this support possible. Grants such as this are vital in helping community buildings continue to operate safely and effectively, particularly at a time when many local facilities are facing increasing costs and financial pressures.
Work on the fire safety improvements has already begun and is expected to be completed by the end of the summer, with every effort being made to minimise disruption to regular hall activities.
