Anyone looking for a new hobby, some gentle exercise or a sociable way to meet new people is invited to take part in a friendly and relaxed Beginners Bowls Course at Kirton Bowls Club this April. The course is open to anyone aged 11 and over and is ideal for those who would like to give bowls a try. Kirton Bowls Club is proud to have the only all-weather outdoor bowls green in North Lincolnshire, located at Klassic Park, allowing play to continue whatever the spring weather brings.
Course details
The course will run on Saturdays 4th, 11th and 18th April. Sessions take place from 11.00am to 1.00pm. The cost is £5.00 per session. All equipment is provided. Participants are asked to wear flat-soled shoes, such as trainers. Whether completely new to bowls or simply curious, those attending will be guided through the basics by friendly volunteers and shown why bowls is such a popular and sociable sport. Anyone who decides to join Kirton Bowls Club after completing the course will have their course fees deducted from their first year’s membership. Places are limited.
