‘Lincolnshire’s Tudor Heroines’ is the title of The Friends of Gainsborough Old Hall’s First Tuesday Talk this month is on Tuesday 7th October at 7.30pm. Admission is £4.00, including light refreshments, and the venue is Gainsborough House, Parnell Street, DN21 2NB.
Historian Sharon Bennett Connolly presents a talk on Lincolnshire’s Tudor heroines. It will feature Renaissance women from writers and mistresses to martyrs, duchesses and queens, including some with close links to Gainsborough Old Hall.
