The Kirton in Lindsey Society’s season of talks continues on Tuesday 28th October. This month’s audience will be taken on a military and social history journey with ‘Tank Tour Two’. It marks a return visit by Andrew Blow, who will present newly discovered vintage film and photographs about the Lincolnshire-built First World War tanks and the people involved. This is the first of two related talks, with Richard Pullen continuing the story in February next year.
The next meeting will be held on Tuesday 25th November, when the talk will be ‘Love Lincolnshire Plants’.
All meetings commence at 7.30pm in the Diamond Jubilee Town Hall, High Street, Kirton in Lindsey, DN21 4LZ. Entrance is normally £2.00 for members, including refreshments, and £5.00 for non-members, except for special meetings.
