Beckingham and District Gardeners’ Club’s next meeting will be on Monday 20th October, when Martin Fish will give a talk on perennials for all seasons. With over 50 years’ experience in horticulture, Martin is a respected expert, garden writer and broadcaster. Many local people will know him from Radio Lincolnshire and Gardeners’ Question Time. This meeting will take place in Walkeringham Village Hall at 7.30pm. Visitors are very welcome to attend both meetings.
On Monday 17th November, Glen and Dean Charlton will speak on shrubs in winter for colour. They will share tips to ensure gardens remain bright throughout the year, even in the colder months.
Non-members are welcome to attend any meeting. Visitor entry is £4.00, or there is the option of annual membership at £15.00 per person or £20.00 per family, which includes refreshments. Meetings are usually held in Beckingham Recreation Room and begin at 7.30pm.
The club is small and friendly, and visitors or new members are always warmly welcomed.
