St Laurence’s Church, Corringham has events coming up in their new community hub in the church. Enjoy a fortnightly coffee morning – upcoming dates are 6th and 20th September, 4th and 18th October and 1st November – with tea / coffee, homemade cake and plenty of lively chatter! Bingo is held monthly, on 17th September and 15th October. It costs £5.00 for four games, cash prizes, refreshments and a half-time quiz.
Help raise funds for the church at Desert Island Discs on Friday 19th September, 7.00pm, in Corringham Church. Also planned is a race night at The Becketts in Corringham on Saturday 27th September. Tickets cost £6.00, which includes refreshments, and all proceeds will go to the church.
Church services: Sunday 14th September,9.30am is Holy Communion; Sunday 28th September, 3.00pm is harvest evensong.
