The next coffee morning at Lea Village Hall, Rectory Lane, Lea, DN21 5JA will take place on Friday 5th September, followed by Friday 3rd October. Half the proceeds from the September raffle will be donated to Barnardo’s Children’s Charity.
Visitors can enjoy tea or coffee for just £3.00, served with either a mouth-watering bacon butty or a tasty slice of homemade cake. The bacon butties are particularly popular. The coffee morning runs from 10.30am to 12.00pm and everyone is welcome.
At the September coffee morning, Alison will display her handmade greetings cards, and a representative from West Lindsey District Council’s Enforcement and Customer Services team will be present to discuss issues such as littering, dog fouling, fly-tipping, and other concerns.
A free book swap is also available, offering a wide range of titles to choose from. New residents are especially welcome to go along, meet locals, and enjoy a warm, safe space for catching up with friends over coffee and cake. Coffee mornings take place on the first Friday of every month.
Following their popular July visit, A Salt ‘n’ Battery mobile fish and chip van will return on Saturday 27th September, serving from 4.30pm to 7.30pm. Tables will be set out in the hall so families and friends can enjoy their meals together. Tea, coffee, and cakes will also be available to buy inside the hall. Please bring your own drinks.
Lea Village Hall is available for private hire and features a fully equipped kitchen, making it ideal for birthdays, anniversaries, and other celebrations.
