The 42nd Annual Show of Kirton in Lindsey Amateur Gardeners (KLAGs) takes place on Saturday 6th September. The group is always keen to see more people entering items across a wide variety of classes – and they are not limited to gardening! The classes include vegetables, fruit, flowers, pot plants, floral art, wine making, preserves, baking, children’s entries, photography, art and craft. It’s a varied and inclusive show designed to cater to many different interests. The photography section this year includes four themed classes: Bridge, Convoluted, Towering, and Mirror. How these are interpreted is entirely up to the creativity of the entrant.
Show schedules, which include full details on the classes and how to enter, are available now. Many classes remain consistent each year, but a number change annually to provide some fresh variation. Everyone is encouraged to enter – this is an open show, which means anyone can take part regardless of experience or club membership.
The show is open to the public for viewing of exhibits from 2.00pm to 4.00pm. For any queries about entering or taking part, contact Show Secretary Vincent D’Roza on 07931 127826 or Sarah Wilkinson, Secretary, on 01652 409717 or sarah.wilkinson11@outlook.com.
