Lea Village Hall committee will hold their AGM on Thursday 24th July at the village hall at 7.00pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.

The committee needs new members so if you have ideas about future events, please come along and volunteer. The meetings are held every six to eight weeks. This is your village hall and your chance to show your support by coming along to the AGM.

Coffee mornings

The next coffee morning is at Lea Village Hall, Rectory Lane, Lea, DN21 5JA on Friday 4th July, and then Friday 1st August. Half the proceeds from the July raffle will be donated to Andy’s Charity Shop.

Please join everyone at the Village Hall for a cup of tea or coffee, only £3.00 with either a bacon butty or a slice of homemade cake. The coffee mornings are non the first Friday of every month and run from 10.30am to 12.00pm. Everyone is welcome.

The hall provides a safe warm space for everyone who may feel lonely or who just wants to get out and meet some new people. There is also a free book swap.

After their very successful visit in June, on Saturday 26th July, A Salt ‘n’ Battery mobile fish and chips van will be visiting the village hall from 4.30pm until 7.30pm. Unfortunately, the village hall has been unable to book an outside bar for this event but please bring your own drinks as there will be tables set out in the hall for family and friends to enjoy eating together. Tea, coffee and cakes will be available to buy inside the hall.

Lea Village Hall is available for private hire so if you have a birthday or anniversary celebrations in the future go down and have a look. There is a fully equipped kitchen.
