Saturday 12th July is the date to mark in the diary as Morton’s much-loved Feastival returns – bigger and better than ever. The event begins at 2.00pm and continues through to 10.00pm, offering a full day of entertainment, children’s rides, food, stalls and music – plenty of fun for all ages.
Local residents will soon receive a leaflet detailing the full programme of events, so be sure to look out for it and plan ahead for this fabulous free day out. Friends and family are warmly encouraged to go along and join in the celebration.
Don’t forget to pick up raffle tickets for the chance to win one of the many wonderful prizes, kindly donated by local businesses and individuals.
The Feastival is the result of months of planning by a dedicated group of volunteers. Their efforts have made this community event possible once again. Special thanks go to Jane and Tracey for their hard work in coordinating this year’s festivities.
Table Top Sale
For those who receive Gainsborough Life before the end of the month, there’s one more opportunity to support the Feastival in advance – a Table Top Sale on Saturday 29th June. Running from 2.00pm to 4.00pm, the event includes the usual selection of tea and delicious homemade cakes.
This fundraiser is the final push to help cover costs for this year’s free celebration on 12th July. All support is greatly appreciated.
