Town Hall Live, Kirton in Lindsey, has an exciting line-up of concerts scheduled for July and August, showcasing a range of exceptional talent from the UK and abroad.
July concerts
Saturday 5th July – Boo Hewerdine and Yvonne Lyon
Boo Hewerdine, one of the UK’s finest songwriters and former frontman of Scottish band The Bible, joins forces with acclaimed singer-songwriter Yvonne Lyon. Known for her poignant lyrics and melodic creativity, Yvonne has released ten solo albums to date.
In 2023, the pair collaborated on the album Things Found in Books, inspired by real letters, photos and postcards discovered in a secondhand bookshop. The songs imaginatively re-tell the stories behind those items, creating a reflective and nostalgic collection. At the concert, Boo and Yvonne will accompany one another vocally, with Boo on guitar and Yvonne on keyboards and guitar.
Support will come from Hull-based singer-songwriter Sharon Mayer. Tickets are priced at £16.00.
Saturday 19th July – Town Hall Live Garden Festival
The annual Garden Festival will take place at Saxonhurst, East Cross Street, Kirton, DN21 4EA. Gates open at 1.00pm with music from 1.30pm, featuring:
