The Kirton in Lindsey Amateur Gardeners (KLAGs) season of meetings and outings continues on Wednesday 18th June at 7.30pm, with a visit to Kirton in Lindsey Allotments.
This month, the club will explore Kirton’s relatively new allotments, hosted by the Kirton in Lindsey Allotments Association. The group is proud of what has been achieved on the site in just a few years. Lovely refreshments and homegrown produce will most likely be available.
Kirton maintained allotments from Victorian times until the 1960s, so it is heartening to see them flourishing once more.

In July, the club will visit the wonderful Pilham Arboretum, and in August, the meeting will focus on ‘The History and Development of English Gardens’.
The KLAGs Annual Show is fast approaching, taking place on Saturday 6th September in the Town Hall. All are welcome to enter. Further details will be available in the July issue.
New members are warmly encouraged to join the group, who are a friendly and welcoming bunch.
