The next coffee morning is at Lea Village Hall, Rectory Lane, Lea, DN21 5JA on Friday 2nd May, and then on Friday 6th June. Half the proceeds from the May raffle will be donated to The Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity who support families with a seriously ill child.
Please join everyone at the Village Hall. It costs only £3.00 for a tea or coffee with either a mouth-watering bacon butty or a tasty slice of homemade cake. The coffee mornings run from 10.30am to 12.00pm and everyone is welcome.
The hall provides a safe warm space for everyone who may feel lonely or who just wants to get out and meet people. There is also a book swap. The coffee mornings will run on the first Friday of every month.
On Saturday 3rd May, A Salt ‘n’ Battery mobile fish and chip van will be visiting the village hall from 4.30pm until 7.30pm. Unfortunately, the village hall has been unable to book an outside bar for this event but please bring your own drinks as there will be tables set out in the hall for family and friends to enjoy eating together.
Lea Village Hall is available for private hire so if you have a birthday or anniversary celebrations in the future go down and have a look. There is a fully equipped kitchen.
See the Lea Village Hall Facebook page or leavillagehall.wixsite.com for more details about events and information and find out about the regular clubs that take place.
