A new Indoor Bowls Hall is very much on the cards for the West Lindsey District.
The Riverside Indoor Bowls team is delighted to announce that with the support of the Leaders of West Lindsey District Council, Councillors Trevor Young and Lesley Rollings, along with Councillors Matt Boles, Emma Bailey, Lynda Mullally, and Karen Careless, an Indoor Bowls Hall will be built in the near future.
It has been a long journey, but there has been significant interest from the general public asking, ‘Where is this Indoor Bowls Hall? I would like the opportunity to play.’
The support shown from the public has been fantastic, and the Trustees have been amazed by how many old and new members are eagerly awaiting the opening.
Recently, Gainsborough bowlers played against the Lincoln bowlers at the Lincoln Indoor Bowls Hall. The event was a very inspiring experience, one that left a lasting impression on the Councillors present.
Exciting times lie ahead for everyone who will be able to enjoy indoor bowls in Gainsborough.
