Gainsborough Choral Society’s final concert of their 24-25 season – a performance of Verdi’s Requiem – will take place on Sunday 6th April, starting at 6.00pm. The concert is being staged at the Baths Hall, Scunthorpe DN15 7RG. This performance will bring together singers from both Gainsborough Choral Society and Scunthorpe and District Choral Society to celebrate the latter’s 80th anniversary. The two choirs will be supported by the 62-piece Lincolnshire Chamber Orchestra and conducted by Neil Ferris, the Chorus Director of the BBC Chorus. The four soloists are Anita Watson (soprano), Judith Le Breuilly (mezzo-soprano), Charne Rochford (tenor), and James Cleverton (bass). This is a wonderful opportunity to hear this great work in all its operatic glory!
Tickets are available from the Baths Hall website at www.scunthorpetheatres.co.uk/whats-on/verdi-requiem or by phoning 01724 296296.
