Town Hall Live Kirton has just one concert in December, when Callaghan will headline on Friday 6th December.
The venue is delighted to welcome back Callaghan for a one-off concert, marking her fifth appearance, with all previous shows being sell-outs.
Callaghan, originally from Grantham, has a well-known story. In 2010, she moved to Atlanta to record her debut album with Shawn Mullins, who continued to mentor her. After 10 years in the United States, she has returned to the UK. During her time in the States, Callaghan recorded three additional studio albums and a live album. Since 2020, she has also released three Acoustic Coffee House albums.
Callaghan’s extraordinary voice sets her music apart, with a sound that has drawn comparisons to Sarah McLachlan, Eva Cassidy, and Carly Simon. Performing live on guitar and keyboards, her vocal performance is captivating. Her songwriting reflects the universal stories, experiences, and emotions of life, spanning from joyous anthems like Best Year and Crazy Beautiful Life to emotive ballads such as When You Loved Me and Broken.
For her latest appearance in Kirton, Callaghan will be joined by Ant Clark on keyboards and backing vocals.
Tickets for the concert are priced at £16.00 and are available from Brian on 01652 649230 or brianchudley@btinternet.com, from Morrisons Daily in Kirton, or online at www.wegottickets.com.
