Wheatley Local History Group’s next meeting will take place at the Village Hall in South Wheatley on Monday 18th November at 10.00am.
They will welcome Maureen Cooper, who will give a talk entitled ‘Poverty, Prosperity and Politics’.
Learn about the wife of King Edward II (the ‘She Devil of France’), Alice who died through the ‘instigation of the devil’ and Lady Ludd. This promises to be a very interesting morning.
Attendance at this meeting is totally free of charge. This is, therefore, an excellent opportunity to go along and find out more about the group.
