Wheatley Local History Group has some excellent news – they have found a new Treasurer, which means they can now plan ahead with confidence.
The next meeting will take place at the Village Hall in South Wheatley on Monday 16th September, starting at 10.00am. The group will once again welcome Adrian Gray, who will be speaking about the Pilgrim Fathers.
The leaders of the Pilgrim Fathers originated from North Nottinghamshire and were church leaders. Adrian will explain why this was the case, promising a very interesting morning.
Attendance at this meeting is free of charge, providing an excellent opportunity to go along and find out more about the group.
