Misterton Bowls Club recently held its annual presentation ceremony at the Hickman Hill Hotel in Gainsborough.
District Councillor Hazel Brand was guest of honour and presented competition trophies and commendation cards from two English sporting internationals to the Misterton bowlers.
Pete Collins and Mark North received cards from Ben Stokes, the English cricket team captain.
Hazel Duffner and Denise Morgan received cards from England’s world championship Lawn Green Bowler and gold medallist bowler Naomi Pharoah, who also donated two of her England shirts.
