On Saturday 13th May Kirton in Lindsey Amateur Gardeners (KLAGs) is holding its yearly ‘bring and buy’ Plant Stall in the Market Place from 9.00am to 11.00am. Pop along and have a look – you may find just the plant(s) that you have been looking for! This follows their successful Daffodil Show in April.
Then on Wednesday 17th May their monthly indoor meeting will include an illustrated talk by Neil Timms. He will be ‘Astride the Garden Fence’ talking about wildflowers in a garden setting. Neil is a nursery owner and gardener from Binbrook in northern Lincolnshire.
In June and July there are two club outings and visits: on 21st June it’s a visit to a member’s garden in Hibaldstow and on 19th July there will be a ‘Foraging trip to Broughton Woods’ (including a talk as well).
Indoor meetings start again in August with a talk called ‘Perennials for All Seasons’, when Steve Lovell will be passing on his knowledge and expertise on the topic.
