The members of Scotter Bowls Club are greatly looking forward to the new season; the green has undergone many hours of hard work in readiness for it and is looking in excellent condition.
The club is actively looking for new players to join. Perhaps you have played before and are looking to join a new club, or maybe a complete beginner and it’s always something you’ve wanted to try and have never got round to it; well, now’s your chance!
It is a long established and friendly club with teams in the Scunthorpe and Gainsborough leagues and frequent social gatherings amongst club members. If you are a complete beginner, the club can offer a course of coaching and will be starting some new sessions on Sunday 15th May.
The green will be opening for the new season on Sunday 24th April, with an open day on Sunday 8th May for anyone to go along, have a chat and try some bowls. The green is located at Scotton Road, Scotter DN21 3SB. For further information please contact Steph Parman on 01724 761820.
