When picking up a brush, pencil or pastel and putting something down on paper or a canvas, you can immerse yourself in creativity, and everything else is forgotten for a few hours. Bassetlaw Museum invites you to the Brushstrokes Art Group exhibition, running at the Museum from Saturday 5th February to Saturday 2nd April, featuring artworks created during lockdown and emphasising the importance of art in improving mental health and wellbeing.
Brushstrokes Art Group is a small group consisting of about eight regulars. They have been meeting for six years in the Church Room, Church Lane in Misterton.
For more information about the exhibition see www.bassetlawmuseum.org.uk or call 01777 713749.
