SCARECROW COMPETITION
Scarecrows are beginning to pop up all over Morton. If you would like to find them all, the Scarecrow Trail is available from various spots around the village from 5th July and it would be well worth a walk around the village!
5K FUN RUN
The annual 5k Fun Run along the riverbank is on Friday 12th July at 7.00pm. This event is open to all, but children under eight must be accompanied by a responsible adult. You can register at the Village Hall from 6.00pm, but it is helpful if entry forms are collected and returned beforehand from 1 Southlands Drive, as it helps to get the runoff on time. Entry is £2.00 for adults and £1.00 for children. The runners appreciate support, so why not stroll down to the riverbank to cheer them on or applaud the winners as they reach the finish on the Community Field.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
