Let The Crossing help you achieve your 2024 New Year’s Resolutions

If you want to lose a few pounds why not try free weight management sessions called ‘Your Health Your Way’? This is a 12-week programme held on Wednesdays between 6.00pm and 7.30pm at The Crossing in Worksop. 45 minutes of friendly exercise and 45 minutes of nutritional support. If exercise is your thing try their Seated Exercise classes. The Crossing hosts various classes to suit your needs:

  • Tuesdays: 10.30am to 11.30am
  • Thursdays: 11.00am to 12.00pm – open to all but aimed at MS sufferers
  • Thursdays: 2.00pm to 3.00pm – Parkinson’s Society members only
  • Fridays: 2.00pm to 3.00pm

If you fancy learning something new or making new friends try the:

  • National Trust Members’ Monthly Meetings: third Wednesday of the month, 7.30pm to 9.30pm (October to April only)
  • Just Good Friends: Mondays, 6.30pm to 9.30pm (contact 01246 913267 / trish@jgfc.org.uk)
  • Grumpy Men’s Lunch: second Wednesday of the month, 12.30pm to 2.00pm (to order, give details to the welcome desk staff)

And if you just want to relax and chill:

  • Family Film Night: Saturday 13th January, 4.00pm to 6.00pm (book with Emily on 07739 018908)
  • Women’s Mindfulness Mornings: Wednesdays, 10.00am to 12.00pm for a chat, cuppa and crafts (contact Emily on 07739 018908)
