Dragon’s Quest

Willow Weaving Taster Session

Join local artist and willow weaving expert David Evans for this taster session. This fun and creative event will introduce you to the art of working with willow. You will learn the basic techniques of willow weaving and create your very own unique willow creation to take home. All materials and equipment provided.

Augmented Reality Easter Egg Trail
Friday 31st March to Sunday 16th April
Organised by North Notts BID through the LoyalFree app, through the app scan the augmented reality marker on posters to discover the 3D Easter eggs at each stopping point. Start at the Savoy Cinema in Worksop and Rondo Lounge in Retford. Both culminate at the Yum Yums sweet shops in Worksop and Retford (Priory Shopping Centre and on Carolgate respectively), where a treat will be in store for completing the trail.

Family Easter Adventures

Family Worksop – Easter Holiday Crafts

Eight eggs are hidden around the Crags as if by an Ice Age Hunter… and each has a clue as to where the next egg is hidden. Follow the clues and collect the words on the boards to claim your prize. Can you solve the clues and find them all?

Archaeology Family Fun in the Meadow

Discover how archaeologists learn all about life in the Ice Age and have a go in our dig-boxes to find replicas of the some of the bones and tools that were found in the caves at Creswell. The team will also tell you how the Ice Age artists created the engravings in their caves and you can have a go at creating some portable art.
