There’s so much to do in and around Sherwood for all the family this Christmas period. We’ve compiled a list of all the great activities going on locally.

Breakfast with Elves
5th, 8th, 9th, 12th, 15th, 16th, 19th, 22nd and 23rd December, 9.30am and 11.00am
Breakfast will be held in the morning in the main café before story time with Father Christmas. While breakfast is served our resident elves with be helping to make special reindeer food to take away for the all-important day. Booking is required.
An adult breakfast is £7.95 with one free child breakfast per adult, and an additional cost of £3.00 per extra child.

Breakfast with Santa
1st, 8th and 15th December, 8.30am – 10.00am
What a brilliant treat for the kids this Christmas, breakfast with Father Christmas himself! Every child will receive a special present from Santa. Booking is required.
£11.50 per person

Santa Paws
2nd, 8th, 9th, 15th and 16th December, 10.30am – 3.30pm
Treat your pooch to a festive experience with a difference. Meet Santa Paws himself and each fur baby will receive a treat. No booking is needed.
£5.00 per visit (a donation will be given to the local dog shelter).

Santa’s Grotto
Every Saturday and Sunday from 17th November until 23rd December, 11.00am – 4.00pm daily
Visit Rufford Abbey Country Park’s Christmas Grotto to meet Santa and his helpers. Located in the Gallery.
£5.00 per child. (normal parking charges apply).

Santa Paws
8th and 9th December, 11.00am – 3.00pm
Share some festive fun with your four-legged friends! Bring your besties to meet Santa Paws, enjoy a doggie treat and help raise funds for the wonderful Jerry Green Dog Rescue. Come along any time – no need to book.
There is a minimum donation of £2.00 per dog, car parking charges apply

Festive Forest Corner
Saturday 15th December, 11.00am – 3.00pm
The festive season is in full swing! Enjoy crafts, activities, talks and walks at the craft centre, new visitor centre and out in the forest. Create a decoration for Sherwood’s Christmas tree and enjoy a tasty treat in the cafe.

Festive Forest Corner – Edwinstowe Community Evening
Saturday 15th December, 6.00pm – 8.00pm
Wrap up warm for a cosy, community evening on Forest Corner. The craft centre and visitor centre are partnering up to welcome locals for a festive celebration with music, activities, entertainment.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Saturday 1st December to Sunday 6th January
Mansfield Palace Theatre is bringing Sue Holderness to the town, as the villain in this year’s Christmas pantomime, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and she will be joined by the hugely popular Adam Moss, returning to Mansfield for the fourth time following great reviews from customers year after year.
