There’s something for everyone scheduled in the new season at Mansfield Palace Theatre — from nippers to nannas, and everything in between! Music fans will be excited by the five tribute evenings planned, plus original artists The Searchers, appear as part of their farewell tour on 14th March and Showaddywaddy are back by popular demand on 29th March.

The Legends of American Country tribute show, returns on 7th February, followed by Oh! What a Feeling, celebrating the music of Lionel Richie and the Commodores on 8th February. Lee Memphis King transforms himself into Elvis, with a brand new production dedicated entirely to the Vegas years on 9th February. George Michael tribute, FastLove, is back on 16th March, following a sell-out show last year and Roy Orbison and the Traveling Wilburys Experience, perform hits including Mr Blue Sky and Pretty Woman to end the tribute season on 28th March.

The UK’s premier comedy drag show is back with the hilarious, fabulous and glamorous Music Hall Tavern on 10th February. A stunning spectacle suitable for the whole family is the Chinese New Year Extravaganza on 15th February and to round off a week of big produtions, X-Factor winner Sam Bailey is getting her teeth into a rocker of a show when she stars in two performances of Steve Steinman’s Vampires Rock on 16th February.

If it’s family fun you’re after, there are two offerings for the February half term break. Oddsocks bring their trademark humour, fast-paced action and live music to Robin Hood and the Revolting Peasants on 17th February, closely followed by Pop Divas Live, who create a concert experience for fans of Little Mix, Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift and many more on 19th February.

TV favourites The Twirlywoos are setting sail around the UK on their first ever tour, which calls at Mansfield Palace Theatre for mischief, music and plenty of surprises on 12th March. Judith Kerr’s classic tale of The Tiger Who Came to Tea is brought to life on stage in a delightful show packed with oodles of magic, sing-a-long songs and clumsy chaos on 26th and 27th March.

Two time BBC Folk Award winners Greg Russell and Ciaran Algar perform a ‘Folk in the Studio’ session on 28th March and Carlton Main Frickley Colliery Band return to the Palace stage, on 17th March. The Good Old Days of Variety deliver a brand new nostalgia show starring the Houghton Weavers, Andy Eastwood and comedy legend Jimmy Cricket on 13th March.

Swan Lake remains one of the most enchanting classical ballets and Ballet Theatre UK promise to provide with you a new look at the classic tale on 24th March.

As always, we encourage you to support local talent who are showcasing their work on the Palace Theatre stage in the coming months, starting with Senior Youth Theatre who perform Peter Pan on 13th and 14th February and Inspire Youth Arts who present their annual showcase on 21st and 22nd February, followed by Guys and Dolls performed by Mansfield Operatic Society from 6th to 10th March.
