As Christmas approaches and the year draws to a close, The Dukeries Singers look back with gratitude on a wonderful year of music and friendship. Under the inspiring leadership of Musical Director Mr John Pope, and accompanied by the beautiful playing of Susan Bennett, the choir has shared songs, laughter and many memorable moments. To all the choir members and supporters who have attended concerts and events throughout the year – thank you. You are the reason they sing. This festive season, the choir offers heartfelt thanks to everyone who has guided, accompanied and encouraged them. Your support has filled their harmonies with warmth and meaning. Join the choir for an unforgettable musical journey featuring Christmas favourites and contemporary gems, at one of their upcoming concerts:
