On Sunday 10th May, St Joseph’s Hall will officially reopen at 11.00am, welcoming visitors for a day of celebration.
From 11.00am to 4.00pm, a range of activities will take place, including a tombola, raffle, board games, indoor car boot sale, and music and singing. This joint venture between Ollerton Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers, together with St Joseph’s Hall volunteers, will provide ‘all the fun of the fair’ for visitors of all ages. Light refreshments will be available, and while admission is free, donations are welcomed to support this worthwhile cause.
Activities are designed to offer something for everyone, from toddlers to pensioners, whether taking part, playing games, or simply relaxing with a drink and snack. Visitors are also invited to explore the hall, including its impressive main space and newly redecorated lounge. Local volunteer Anita Mulloy said: “It’s very rewarding for us as St Joseph’s Hall volunteers to help raise funds for local Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers. “Join us as we reopen our newly improved and redecorated hall to celebrate community, connection and new beginnings.”
