Silver jewellery workshops are held every Thursday afternoon from 1.00pm to 3.00pm at the Dukeries Community Workshop. Led by Mel and Claire, these popular sessions offer expert guidance in the basics of creating jewellery from silver.
A beginner’s course runs over two consecutive Thursdays – dates chosen upon booking – and introduces participants to the essential tools and techniques of silversmithing. Attendees will learn to craft their own rings and, time permitting, matching earrings. All materials are included in the cost of £50.00 per person.
For those with more experience, drop-in sessions are available, offering access to bench space and equipment for independent work.
The Dukeries Community Workshop is a charitable organisation established in 1988. It offers a range of craft workshops and regular drop-in sessions, allowing individuals to work on personal projects with access to tools, machinery and guidance.
