Edwinstowe and the Dukeries Lions Club are at it again – helping Santa visit our villages. He will be in Ollerton, Edwinstowe, Bilsthorpe and Walesby during December. Please remember the club try their best to visit all these places but time, weather and not having enough volunteers can hold them back.
If you do miss their mobile visits, they will be at Ollerton Tesco all day on Friday 16th, Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th December. Keep an eye on their Facebook page, @EandDLions, for updates and schedules.
The Lions really enjoy their work and bringing smiles to everyone’s faces. They are a small group of volunteers and they always need more helpers this time of year to help pull this off. If you fancy helping them or becoming a member, please get in touch. December is a major collection time for them and every penny raised goes to worthy causes in our community.
