Robin Hood portrait competition

by | 19 April 2018 | Notice, Sherwood

Robin Hood is one of our most loved folklore figures and the tales of his deeds have earned him a firm place in Newark and Sherwood’s heart. This summer you can celebrate the legendary outlaw and his band of Merry Men by re-creating our Robin with his very own portrait.

The winning entry shall receive the fabulous prize of a pair of tickets to the European premiere of the new Robin Hood film featuring The Kingsman star Taron Egerton and will be displayed at the new Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre.
In order to be in with a chance of winning simply re-create Robin’s face and submit it to Newark and Sherwood District Council, either scanned or photographed to tourism.support@newark-sherwooddc.gov.uk or by post to Sarah Payne, Newark and Sherwood District Council, Castle House, Great North Road, Newark NG24 1BY.
The competition runs to 31st August 2018. More information can be found at www.visitnewarkandsherwood.info/competitions.
